Email support@getdoubloon.app. Include the app version from Settings and a short description of what happened. You can also open Settings > Support > Contact Support in the app, which adds a support ID to the email.
How values work
- Melt value is the metal content of the item multiplied by the current spot price. For coins and bullion the metal content comes from the catalog specification; for jewelry it comes from the hallmark's fineness and the weight you enter.
- Collector estimates (Doubloon Pro, coins only) are ranges by condition, built from recent public sales, listings and price guides. Each range lists the pages it came from and the date. When none are found, the app shows "No reliable collector data yet" and the melt value.
- No melt value is shown for copper, nickel, zinc or steel, and for plated jewelry marks such as GP or HGE.
- All values are estimates, not appraisals, offers or investment advice.
Purchases
Doubloon Pro is sold through the App Store. If Pro is missing after a purchase, open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account. Billing, refunds and cancellation are handled by Apple: manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings, at least 24 hours before it renews.
Your data
Your vault is stored on your iPhone. If you sign in, it syncs to your account. Settings includes vault export, sign-in method management, sign-out, analytics opt-out, deletion of all data on the iPhone, and account deletion. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Delete your account
In the app: open Settings > Account > Delete Account and confirm. This permanently deletes your Doubloon account and, from our servers, the vault items, photos, alert rules, device registrations, value history and free-scan counts stored with it, and revokes Sign in with Apple access when you used it. Operational backups that contain the account expire within about 35 days.
Without the app: email support@getdoubloon.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Doubloon account". We verify that you own the account before deleting it.
Your subscription: deleting your account does not cancel Doubloon Pro. Cancel it separately in your Apple Account settings.
Data on your iPhone only: if you never signed in, your vault exists only on your iPhone. Delete it in Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete All Data on This iPhone, or by removing the app.
